Shenmue III erscheint am 19.11.2019 für PS4 und PC

Shenmue III - ScreenshotFast 18 Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung des letzten Shenmue-Abenteuers auf der Dreamcast, erscheint nun am 19.11.2019 nach einer Entwicklungszeit von über 4 Jahren der dritte Teil des Action Adventures auf der PS4 und dem PC. Dem finalen Releasedatum gingen mehrere Verschiebungen voraus, die viele Unterstützer der am 16. Juni 2015 über Kickstarter gestarteten Crowdfunding-Kampagne verärgerte. Insgesamt kamen über 7 Mio. US-Dollar von über 80.000 Unterstützer zusammen, so das neben der erfolgreichen Finanzierung noch 15 weitere der insgesamt 28 geplanten Stretch-Goals erreicht werden konnten. Zuvor wurde die Crowdfunding-Kampagne auf der eigenen Webseite fortgeführt, nicht zuletzt auch, um die Zahlung über PayPal zu ermöglichen und eine PC-Version zu gewährleisten. Dennoch kam es aufgrund der aufwändigen Grafik zu finanziellen Engpässen, so das letztendlich nicht alle Ziele des 11 Mio. Dollar-Projektes verwirklicht werden konnten.

Gamescom 2019: Fotos & Video online

Nach einer aufregenden und sehr zufriedenen Woche auf der Gamescom 2019 sind unsere Fotos sowie das Video nun endlich online. Wie üblich gibt es darin wieder die gesamte Ausstellungsfläche der Retro Area in Halle 10.2 mit allen Ausstellern, Ständen, Systemen und Vitrinen zu sehen. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch einen Einblick in die Entertainment-Hallen 6,9,7, und 8 mit Previews zu einigen Nintendo Switch-Spielen sowie ein paar Szenen aus der Event-Halle 11.3. Zum Abschluß gibt es noch ein paar Highlights an unserem Stand sowie ein paar Outtakes zu sehen.
