Finde es auch eine tolle Idee, für mich bringt es allerdings nichts, da ich keinen Plattenspieler habe. Da wäre dann ggf. nur die digitale Version interessant.Augenzwinkern

Es ist geschafft und das schon nach 12 Tagen!!! fröhlich

Derzeit bei 103% und es wird ständig mehr. Jetzt geht es eigentlich nur noch um die (vierte) Bonus-CD aber so wie ich das einschätze, könnte das nochmal locker das doppelte werden, wenn nicht sogar das dreifache. Die nächsten 37 Tage bleiben spannend. Das wird der beste Spielesoundtrack in der Geschichte der Computerspiele! cool

Auslöser war ein neuer Bonus: Eine handgearbeitete Musikbox, welche "The Great Bath" spielt.

Finally, as a last special item, we would like to create a mechanical music box in a hand-crafted wooden case, that will play "The Great Bath". This will be quite expensive to make, but it could be the ultimate collectible item of Turrican music. In fact, there will be only a maximum of 16 made (to honor the 16 bit era) and 6 are already reserved for members of the team (who will pay themselves for them), so that leaves 10 for potential backers. We are adding this item to the $1500 pledge level for an additional perk. Was ich persönlich toll finde, neben Halil Ural wird sich auch Celal Kandemiroglu zusammen mit seinem Burder Ogan mit einem Design zurückmelden:
I also have great news about the art: Halil Ural is now fully on board and will design a brand new poster and box set sleeve art. But even more incredible, we were also able to get an additional deal with the Kandemiroglu brothers (Celal and Ogan), who made most of the cover art for the classic Turrican games. They will create another poster, which will also serve as the cover for the CD box itself.

Tja, das ist die Krux, wenn mehrere exklusive Belohnungen ausgesetzt werden. Da muss man Prioritäten setzen.
Aber mit ein bisschen Glück kann man bei dem offiziellen Verkaufsstart der Karten ein gutes Plätzchen ergattern - auch wenn das Konzert vermutlich schnell ausverkauft sein wird.

Habe soeben eine Mail von Chris bekommen, der bereits den Link zum ersten Stück des Albums enthält. Alle Backer, die mindestens 5$ gespendet haben sollten ebenfalls Post bekommen haben und den Track als MP3 oder FLAC herunter laden können: Es ist der Titel "The final Challange" (Level 5-1) aus der Amigaversion von Turrican 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWhluaS2Lc8

Die Umsetzung gefällt mir wirklich gut, vor allem der "Main Tune" und die Gitarren, die es bei einigen Titeln schon auf der "Number Nine" CD zu hören gab. Bei den Drums hätte ich mir vielleicht noch eine etwas knackigere Alternative gewünscht aber das habe ich Chris schon geschrieben. Ich hoffe das wir den Titel zur nächsten Sendung vorstellen und vielleicht sogar in die 24Std. Playliste aufnehmen können. Lächeln

Ja, das Stück gefällt mir auch richtig gut. Wenn Chris das Niveau hält und dann noch das professionelle Mastering dazukommt, wird die Anthology eine grandiose Sache.

Btw: Endspurt!
Nur noch 55 Stunden (Mitternacht am 03.06), dann ist die Aktion vorbei und man kann sich keine CD-Box und keine der anderen Belohnungen mehr sichern.

Ich hoffe sehr, das die Produktionsqualität noch etwas steigt und die Soundauswahl nochmal überdacht wird. Das erste Stück ist zwar nicht schlecht aber es geht noch deutlich besser und bei dem Budget müßte das auch locker drin sein. Die beiden Turrican-Tracks auf der "Immortal 3" CD sind für mich was Soundauswahl und Mastering betrifft Maßstab aller Produktionen von Chris und viele Titel auf der "Number Nine" CD reichen ebenfalls an diese Qualität heran. Von daher hoffe ich, das die fertige CD-Box am Ende auch diesen Standard erreicht.

Die Soundauswahl ist hier nahezu perfekt. Die Tunes passen hervorragend zusammen und lassen trotzdem nichts vom Flair des Originals vermissen.
